The Adams Free Library proudly hosts a local Seed Library. These libraries help to preserve and strengthen the biodiversity of the Berkshires. Patrons are welcome to take packs of seeds from our collection and are encouraged to ask the library staff for books on seed saving and gardening techniques.
At this time, we can take donations of unused seed packets. These must be unopened with clear labels and growing instructions attached.
Our Seed Library opens to the public at the beginning of each Spring for early germination and are available while supplies last. For more information call (413) 743-8345.

Thank you to our 2025 donors:
American Meadows, Baker Creek Seed Co, Bentley Seed Co, Eden Brothers, and Toadshade Wildflower Farm.
