Waltham Public Library presents- Apollo 12’s Tomorrowland

Apollo 12’s Tomorrowland will explore the perilous moments and pinpoint milestones of our second trip to the moon.

 

A few months between ‘the Eagle has landed,” and ‘Houston we have a problem,” three friends quietly had the time of their lives on the moon—while moving the entire Apollo program forward in the process. Our presenter, Nick Partridge from the National Air & Space Museum, will discuss the mission, how it’s been remembered in books and on film, and why every trip to the moon began in Waltham, MA.
