In this virtual program, acclaimed author Richard Rothstein will demonstrate that residential segregation was created by racially explicit, unconstitutional, mid-twentieth century government policy that openly subsidized whites-only suburbanization. His lecture will educate attendees on the history of this policy so they can be prepared to undertake the national conversation necessary to remedy the unconstitutional racial landscape.

Sponsored by the Friends of the Shrewsbury Public Library, the Shrewsbury Rotary Club, A Better Shrewsbury, The Needham Diversity Initiative, the Needham Rotary Club, the Grafton Public Library, the Hopkinton Public Library, the Westborough Public Library, and the Southborough Public Library.
