When: Tuesday, October 19th at 7PM

Master the basics of recycling: what works, what doesn’t, and why recycling shouldn’t be the highest priority. Audiences will learn:

  • What to toss where – best practices for ten common types of household waste
  • Strategies to reduce and reuse household items
  • Suggestions to improve how the trash and recycling system works in your community
  • Where composting fits in

Presenter Julia L F Goldstein, PhD is the award-winning author of Material Value and Rethink the Bins. Her business, JLFG Communications, creates website content and supports manufacturing businesses on their sustainability journeys. Julia also leads the Seattle chapter of the Nonfiction Authors Association.
