Managing Stress for Job Seekers at the Peabody Institute Library
Peabody, MA (January 12, 2021)… Managing Stress for Job Seekers will be offered online Wednesday, February 3, 2020 from 12:00-12:30 P.M as part of our “New Year: New Job” series. This program will run each Wednesday in February and offers career support to job seekers. Participants are encouraged to register for the series, but it is not required.
Searching for work requires patience, perseverance, an iron stomach, and good support. We invite you to join fellow job searchers and career counselor, Ilene Rudman to learn techniques to help manage the anxiety and stress that is inherent in the job search. Each week will focus on a new technique such as:
- Mindfulness/meditation
- Breathing exercises
- Guided visualizations
- Affirmations/cognitive restructuring
Learn more about Ilene: She is the owner of Career Vision Associates, and a career counselor who has designed employment and training programs at the state and national levels.
