When: Tuesday, November 9th at 7PM

Tuesday, Nov. 9, 7 pm, Alpana Chhibber, of Molina Consulting in Baltimore, will present “What is Systemic Racism and How Do We Dismantle It?” She will help participants understand the roots of systemic racism and how this led to the creation of segregated towns and cities. She will examine specific case studies that have had devastating effects on BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) people as well as long-lasting effects on White communities. Participants will leave the 1 ½ hour ZOOM program with specific strategies for dismantling systemic racism in our communities. This program is supported by a grant from the New Salem Academy.
