Four performers in different drag

Where: On Zoom. Click here to register.

In celebration of Pride Month, the Morrill Memorial Library is offering a “royal panel” discussion over Zoom on Thursday, June 24 at 7:00pm featuring local drag performers from Hors D’oeurves Entertainment. Join Hors D’oeurves (they/them), Leo Crayz (they/them), Robin from Human Resources (she/her), and Loo D’Flyest Priestly (he/they) as they chat about the art and history of drag, their experiences as performers, blurring the gender binary, LGBTQ+ issues and rights, and more.

Hors D’oeuvres is the nonbinary drag sensation out of Western Massachusetts and the head of the House of Hors, a powerhouse of neo-drag and neo-burlesque performing throughout New England. This sassy Cajun transplant brings education and fun to every show they produce or host and has always strived for two goals: to create queer spaces for the LGBTQ+ and ally communities, and to leave the world a little better than it was before them. To keep up with what’s happening with the House of Hors, catch Hors on Facebook.

Leo Crayz (they/them) is an eclectic BIPOC entertainer from western MA. Their drag combines a bit of storytelling with blurring the lines of the binary. For Leo, drag is more than an art form–it’s a way of communication, a way of self-expression, a way of storytelling of truth and fantasy; it’s a way of life.

Fat, funny, and beautifully stupid are all words used to describe New England’s Honda Civic of drag: Robin from Human Resources (she/her). Robin has been performing regularly across New England and serves it up as a game show host on The Serve Network via Twitch. Robin hopes you feel how everyone does after meeting her: disappointed. Follow Robin’s journey on social media at @robinfromhr on Instagram and Twitter.

Loo D’Flyest Priestly (he/they) is a drag king from Northampton, MA. He is known for high-energy routines that play with gender roles and pop culture references, incorporating live drumming, choreography, and skits. Follow him on Facebook at Loo D’Flyest Priestly or Insta @LooDFlyestPriestly for more fun happenings.
