Join us for a virtual poetry workshop! Kids will participate in group dialogue and discussion about Sarah Kay’s poem If I Should Have a Daughter. They will analyze the poem, annotate the text, and discuss the video of Kay’s performance. Everyone will write their own poem and have the opportunity to share it with the group if they want.
Open to grades 4-8 (ages 10-14). Registration is required. If you’re signing someone else up, please use the participant’s name and age when registering.
