6 Massachusetts Libraries To Host Bestselling Author Ace Atkins On January 22
TEWKSBURY, MA – Several North of Boston libraries have joined forces to host bestselling author Ace Atkins for a Zoom webinar on Friday, January 22, 2021 at 7pm.
Atkins will discuss his latest book, Robert B. Parker’s Someone To Watch Over Me: A Spenser Novel, in conversation with author Ingrid Thoft, in this Zoom webinar.
Space is limited. Registration is required and can be found at www.tinyurl.com/AceAtkins. While this virtual event is completely free, attendees can purchase an autographed copy of the book to be shipped to their homes from the event’s bookstore partner – Wellesley Books – before or after the event.
Ace Atkins is the New York Times bestselling author of twenty-seven books, including ten books in his Quinn Colson series. Handpicked by the Robert B. Parker Estate nearly a decade ago to continue the Spenser series, he’s written nine novels about the iconic private eye. He lives and works in Oxford, Mississippi.
Born in Boston, Massachusetts, Ingrid Thoft is the author of the critically acclaimed Fina Ludlow series. In Loyalty, Identity, Brutality, and Duplicity, the Boston private investigator tangles with the city’s criminal element and her family of personal injury attorneys. The series has been called “dazzling” by Publishers Weekly and “modern noir…[with] a new generation kick-ass heroine” by the Cleveland Plain Dealer. Ingrid earned a certificate in private investigation from the University of Washington and is also a graduate of Wellesley College. She lives in Seattle with her husband and is at work on her fifth novel.
This event is sponsored by a collection of North of Boston libraries, including the Memorial Hall Library in Andover, Billerica Public Library, Flint Memorial Library in North Reading, Tewksbury Public Library, Wilmington Memorial Library, and Woburn Public Library.
This event is a part of a series of virtual discussions with bestselling authors held this winter. The next event in the series features a discussion with Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child, who will be discussing their latest thriller, The Scorpion’s Tail.
